D never did this before because we live on a cul-de-sac (sign says "DEAD END") and the only traffic we get are early morning walkers (typically not carrying anything, not even coffee) and cars casing the neighborhood for robberies. But lately I've been seeing different people walking through carrying different things (parrots, for example), so I thought maybe this is the right time. Alas, the only action has been people running the bin over with their cars; we've had to straighten it out twice and move it. I think it was the newspaper delivery people. Anyway, I'll update with more (or no) action later.
