First Bins at a shopping mall!!

Bins at a shopping mall - Ward Warehouse.
Brought to you by Steve.

Bins for the Dead 2

The number of bins have grown at the Manoa Chinese Cemetery without our intervention. They are overflowing each time we check. Guess these have not been found by the picker-uppers yet cause they are not in their regular pick up schedule.

Kapa'e Place at Tom+Dore's

Finally 2 brave souls who put a bin in front of their house. Cheers to Tom and Dore!!

Diamond Head

From SG and KS - Monday, June 8, 2009 8:03 am

We deployed the HI-5 collector again. This time we chose a location more closely aligned with the spirit of the project. This location is on the side of Diamondhead. The property is an old officer's club that is currently owned by KCC. Rumor has it they KCC will be building a culinary institute or some new off campus structure here. As you can imagine, that project has been "on hold" for many moons... In the mean time, a few homeless folks, the skaters and the fixed gear riders have claimed it as an impromptu campsite clandestine skate park with a super-fantastic view of the city and the ocean. This is where we walk our dog everyday. The day we were there they were doing a photo shoot with the fixed gear riders. We are hoping that the bin will be used and welcomed in this space. Either that or immediately destroyed and thrown on the myriad of trash heaps scattered around the location. We will keep an eye on it and encourage the kids to use it.
